Koloa Coconut Rum is made from pure cane sugar, distilled in an impressive vintage 1,210 gallon, steam-powered copper pot still and cut with filtered water from the ancient Mount Wai'ale'ale.

The rum is distilled 2 times at 160 – 180 ABV.

COCKTAIL RECIPE

Kaua'i Skinny Colada

INGREDIENTS

1.5 oz - Koloa Coconut Rum

.25 oz - Koloa Cacao Rum

2 oz - Coconut Water

1 oz - Pineapple Juice

Splash of Pineapple Soda

RECIPE
  

1. Add all ingredients into a shaker with ice, and shake for 20 seconds.

2. Strain into a chilled glass full of fresh ice. Be sure to allow space for the pineapple froth to gently settle at the top.

3. Garnish with dried chocolate-drizzled pineapple.

BODY & COLOR

Koloa Kaua'i Coconut Rum presents itself as a white rum with a hint of Chantilly green opalescence, even and thick viscosity and well-defined, sparkling white legs.

AROMA

Intense coconut aromatics with light hints of roasted coconut and piña colada undertones.

TASTE

The initial taste starts off dry, from the pleasant 80 proof that Koloa has kept the rum at, which then leads to the flavor of coconut at the front of the palate.

FINISH

The spirit finishes with light toasted coconut, hints of fresh lime zest and the slightest bit of caramelized pineapple.
