With only a half-acre of what many consider a white Burgundy second to only Le Montrachet, Nathalie Tollot only makes 5 barrels or 125 cases here. Much of it goes to the British market, where it sells out within hours of release. As indeed it does everywhere.

While Jasper Morris hasn’t reviewed this knockout 2022 yet, he recently rated the 2020 version (a good vintage certainly, but not like this) the top Corton-Charlegne of the vintage (and over some multi-thousand dollar le Montrachets), saying:

A fresh bright pale lemon and lime colour. The bouquet shows more energy than most along with the Corton-Charlemagne characteristics of mineral energy. This also delivers on the palate, at last providing the experience we have been waiting for, dancing fruit with elegance and intensity. Drink from 2025-2034.

In other words, the very essence of great Corton-Charlemagne.

Much more layered aromas are comprised by notes of wet stone, citrus confit, Granny Smith apple and pretty spice wisps. The dense but sleek and highly energetic larger-bodied flavors display impressive power and length on the compact, austere and impeccably balanced finale. This is excellent and a wine that is built to repay extended keeping.
