Connemara Peated Single malt is double distilled in twin pot stills, both equal-sized and with a long and narrow neck, producing a light, fruity distillate. Matures in American ex-bourbon oak barrels for a period of up to 8 years which lends a rich malt and fruity aroma. The ex-bourbon cask lends hints of vanilla, caramel, and compliments the light peatiness within the whiskey. Inspired by Ireland’s ancient distilling traditions, Connemara’s smooth sweet malt taste and complex peat flavors make it a truly unique Irish whiskey.
