Social Creatures was started by Sonoma County, California, winemaker Katrina Laemmerhirt, who has traveled and worked in South Africa, Chile, Peru, Bolivia, and France. All of her wines are made with organic fruit, wild yeast fermented, additive-free, low sulfite, and the most authentic expression of where they were grown. These wines are branded by the land they grow on, expressing the place their roots dig deep, the climate they endure, and their unique soils. The essence of what Natural wines should be.

Winemaker's notes:
Grapes grown on limestone soils, which are rarely found in CA. This wine mimics the waxy, citrus, and rich style of Chenin from the Loire Valley, France.
A "0/0" Wine. no sulfur is added at any point in the fermentation or bottling.
2/3 of the grapes were pressed directly and fermented in barrel to preserve juicy acidity and brightness. The remaining 1/3 of the grapes were fermented 5 days on the skins, bringing soft tannins, caramelized aromatics, and a round body.
