Ruffino Sparkling Rose is fresh and fragrant with notes of strawberry and slight hints of rose petals. On the palate this wine has elegant bubbles and refreshing acidity, offering alluring flavors of delicate red berries and white fruits that linger through the finish.
Grapes for Ruffino Sparkling Rose are from highly desirable vineyards in northeastern Italy. The first stage in making this sparkling wine follows traditional still wine methods. A white wine is made from Glera grapes and a second red wine is made from Pinot Noir grapes. These two wines are then blended, creating a wine with a beautiful rose hue and bright flavors. In the second stage, the Charmat method is used to bring about a secondary fermentation before the wine is bottled under pressure, preserving all of the fresh and fragrant characteristics of the wine.
