Viticulture: The vineyard where Fernlands Sauvignon Blanc is grown is one of Marlborough's best. The soil is an ancient riverbed comprised of three unique terraces of free draining silty loam topsoil. There are 2,500 vines per hectare and all have 2-3 canes adding enhanced flavour concentration to each and every grape bunch.
A vibrant yet perfectly balanced wine boasts a citrus led palate with notes of lime, citrus, green apple, bell pepper, grass and a hint of sweetness, and a long-lasting and refreshing finish, encapsulating the essence of what Marlborough does best.
