STORY

This wine, bearing the name of its creator, is the alma mater of the winery. Ever since the harvest of ‘98, this mark refers to wine produced using medium-aged vineyards, although Emilio Moro previously used it for crianzas and reserves.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE HARVEST \

The 2019 vegetative cycle was preceded by the April rains. However, from the middle of spring until the end of summer, the year was characterised by scarce rains and temperatures higher than expected. The harvest began after a few rainy days, which helped to balance the grapes’ composition and resulted in a year of extraordinary quality and optimal health.

WINEMAKING PROCESS

Elaborated using grapes from medium-aged vineyards. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at controlled temperatures, with subsequent ageing in French and American oak barrels.

TASTING NOTES

Intense cherry red with a dense layer. On the nose it is very balanced and elegant, without losing the essence of the Tempranillo variety. It presents perfectly integrated new barrel aromas and profiles of ripe fruit and spices. In the mouth, it marks the power and the structure that is assembled with a very balanced acidity.
