Very smooth and well-focused, 2012 Pagodes de Cos is immensely charming. Its nose of fresh black fruit also features delicate spicy hints characteristic of Cos d'Estournel. The approachable softness on the aftertaste of this young wine shows its difference with the grand vin. The elegant, silky structure is complemented by fresh, soft, eminently delicious flavours. This is a very seductive vintage.
