Ardbeg Uigeadail combines Ardbeg from bourbon barrel and sherry butt which gives this malt it's well known sweet and smoky finish.
Named after the Loch from which all ardbeg is produced this year's production has even more Sherry influence than previous batches. This makes is a truly distinctive whisky and one that Ardbeg followers from around the world rave about.
Ardbeg Uigeadail's nose is deep and rounded when undiluted, with chocolate caramel and barley sugar combining with dates and traditional Sherry notes. Whith added water, this sweetness is personified by a malted honeycombe and fruit pudding.
It's taste doesn't disappoint. Sweet and silky like fruit cake, but replaced BBQ's honey roast food as you go along. This certainly is one that should be in most people's collection.
