CRUZAN BLACK STRAP RUM

Based in St. Croix and operated by the Nelthropp family since the early 1800s, every bottle of Cruzan Rum captures the unique spirit of the island. A traditional, heavier rum made from the blackstrap molasses of sugar cane. In sugar refining, molasses is separated from the sugar crystals after each of three boiling or extraction processes that sugar cane goes through. The third and final separation is called blackstrap.
