STORY

This wine, bearing the name of its creator, is the alma mater of the winery. Ever since the harvest of ‘98, this mark refers to wine produced using medium-aged vineyards, although Emilio Moro previously used it for crianzas and reserves.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE HARVEST

The weather in 2020 was marked by a slight rise in the average temperature which, together with the abundant rainfall in spring, allowed the vines to develop well. The harvest was accompanied by rainfall that did not affect the quality of the grapes obtained, which will be used to make wines of high quality, aromatic expression, and intensity.

WINEMAKING PROCESS

Made using grapes from medium-aged vineyards. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, with subsequent aging in French and American oak barrels.

TASTING NOTES

Deep garnet red in color, on the nose it is serious and elegant. The evolution in the glass translates into an increase in intensity and aromatic complexity where the fruit continues to be the backbone of the nose of the wine. On the palate, it has a well-structured body with ripe, silky tannins, easy to drink, and a persistent aftertaste.
